Event Polling

Polling Overview

The Polling feature for BlueJeans Events allows Moderators to engage and interact with their event's Attendees by creating custom surveys and questionnaires for live voting. 

 

Creating Polls BEFORE the Event

Moderators can proactively create polls for their upcoming event, once it has been schedule, by following the instructions included below:

  1. Open your Event from the Events page and click [EVENT POLLS]
  2. Click [CREATE NEW POLL]
  3. Input a Poll Question and add Options for Attendees to vote on
    • Each Poll can have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 Options.

 

Creating Polls DURING the Event

Moderators can create new Polls from their Moderator Dashboard by following the instructions included below:

  1. Open the Polling panel from your Moderator Dashboard.
  2. Click the [CREATE A NEW POLL] button.
  3. Input a Poll Question and add Options for Attendees to vote on.
    • Each Poll can have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 Options.
  4. Click [CREATE POLL] to create the Poll for the event.

 

Starting, Managing and Displaying Poll Results

Once the Poll has been created, Moderators can choose to [START] the Poll to begin accepting live votes from Attendees and Presenters. While the Poll is live, the Moderator can view the voting in real-time from their Moderator Dashboard. To close the Poll, click the [END POLL] button. Voting will close and the results will be displayed for Presenters and Attendees.

  • Moderators can [EDIT] or [DELETE] any Poll before starting.
  • Only one Poll can be activate at a time.
  • Once a Poll has been ended it cannot be reopened, edited, or deleted.
  • Post-event reports will include polling data that can be downloaded and shared.
