Last Updated: January 7, 2019 // 9:59 AM

App Version 0.1.0 (7th January 2019)

This version of app is tested only on following flavors of Linux OS:

  • RHEL 7.5 and RHEL 7.6

Known Limitations and Issues

  • App is not launched from URL

Issue: When a BlueJeans meeting link is clicked, the BlueJeans Desktop App 2.0 for Linux does not automatically get launched. The required fix will be available by 19th January 2019.

Workaround: Enter the meeting ID manually to join a meeting.

  • App displays black screen instead of Participant video

Issue: When a user tries to re-join a meeting in BlueJeans Desktop App 2.0 for Linux, the app intermittently does not function as expected. In such cases the remote video (participant video) is not shown. This will be fixed in a future release (TBD).

Workaround: Restart the App (close and re-open the app).

  • Auto-recovery failure in Screen Share Receive

Issue: When BlueJeans Desktop App 2.0 for Linux is receiving a screen share and loses network connectivity, the auto-recovery of the screen share intermittently fails. The audio may continue; however, the screen will be frozen. This will be fixed in future release (TBD).

Workaround: Restart the App (close and re-open the app).

  • Self-view in Meeting Settings is not displayed

Currently, in BlueJeans Desktop App 2.0 for Linux settings the devices are listed; however, the self-view on camera selection is not displayed. This functionality is expected to be available in April ’19.
