BlueJeans Meeting Extension

The BlueJeans Meeting extension is used for Screen Sharing while in a meeting on Google Chrome. Participants using Chrome will be prompted to install the extension when they initiate a screen share for the first time. Extension Management

In network enviorments that prevent end users from installing extensions, IT Administrators can allow and/or force-install the BlueJeans Meeting extension for their Chrome users. To do this, please follow the instructions included below:

How to Add and Allow the BlueJeans Meeting extension:

  1. From the Chrome Admin Console, click on Apps Device management
  2. Go to: Chrome management Chrome App Management
  3. Select “ Add custom app”
  4. Choose preferred option and how you want to enable the extension
    • User settings: Extension is available only for users that log in with an account in the same domain
    • Public session settings: User is not required to be logged in the domain and the extension is available for public sessions on a registered device.
    • Kiosk settings: Deploy the extension as a Kiosk App

How to Force-install and Allow the BlueJeans Meeting extension:

  1. From the Chrome Admin Console, click on Apps Device management
  2. Go to: Chrome management User settings
  3. Under Apps and extensions, find “ Manage force-installed apps
  4. Select “ Specify a Custom app”
  5. Add and Save
