Event Planning Checklist
As an Event Presenter, please review the following BEFORE joining the live event:
▢ Download the BlueJeans App (recommended method of joining Events). Note: Mozilla Firefox access for presenters is not supported today. If you choose to join from Firefox instead, you will be prompted to join from BlueJeans App.
▢ If presenting remotely, find a quiet space such as a conference room or personal office to present from. Be aware of background noise even if it is (e.g shuffling papers, whispering to colleagues, etc.).
▢ This should be the same location where you conduct the dry-run.
▢ Make sure you have access to a stable wifi or plug into an Ethernet port.
▢ Familiarize yourself with BlueJeans Events
▢ From the event email invitation, click “Join as Presenter”
▢ Click Join with BlueJeans App
▢ Get to know Presenter Controls
▢ Work with event organizer(s), moderators, and other presenters on event flow and logistics
▢ Make sure you look and sound great on camera! Here are some tips:
▢ Join the event early, e.g. 30 minutes before the event start time.
▢ Do not wear checkered or plaid clothing as this may create a visually unappealing experience for attendees
▢ Plug in headphones to ensure that your audio is clear
▢ Do not ask, “Can you hear me?” or “Can you see me?” during the event. You should have tested your mic and camera before the real event
