How to upload logs from the BlueJeans App

If you have encountered an issue while using the BlueJeans App, then please use our Log Uploader form to upload and submit the appropriate log files from your machine for the Support Team to investigate.

 

Uploading Logs With the BlueJeans App 2.x

To complete this process, please use the following steps:

  1. Launch the BlueJeans App. For Windows users, click on the three horizontal lines next to "BlueJeans" in the top left-hand corner of the interface. For Mac users, click "BlueJeans" on the menu bar.
  2. Select "Report an Issue" from the menu to open the Log Uploader Form.

  1. Please describe your issue with as much detail as possible and provide your email address
  2. Click the [Send Report] button to automatically upload the app logs to BlueJeans

  1. Once the log files have been uploaded, please send an email to support@bluejeans.com. A case will be created and a Support Engineer will be assigned to investigate

 

If you are unable to submit your log files using the Log Uploader form, the files can be obtained manually on your machine in specific file paths based on your Operating System.

Microsoft Windows:

  • C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\BlueJeans\BlueJeans\Logs

The AppData folder is hidden by default. Use Windows Explorer and click on Organize  Folder and search options  View  Show hidden files, folders, and drives to reveal the folder.

 

macOS:

  • <User>/Library/Logs/BlueJeans/

  1. Launch the BlueJeans App and click on the [Blue Jeans] tab in the top left-hand corner of the interface.
  2. Select "Report an Issue" from the menu to open the Log Uploader Form.
  3. Please describe your issue with as much detail as possible and provide your email address
  4. Click the [Send Report] button to automatically upload the app logs to BlueJeans
